BTEA and working?

    I'm currently in my last year of level 6 culinary arts and will be starting my level 7 in September. My plan is to sign off for the summer and work but would this affect me getting back onto BTEA in September, anyone any experience with this?

    BTEA stops during the summer, you are usually contacted a couple of weeks before the end of college to confirm finish date (usually the date of last exam), and you go back on to jobseekers for the summer (if that was what you were on before.)
    Reapply for BTEA when you have your college place for your Level 7
