    Hi,
The date is set for SKY to install TV, 2 weeks time. We currently have UPC - I would like a seamless disconnect from UPC and connect to SKY so I don’t end up double paying for TV.

When you cancel your account, can you ask for a specific day for it to be cancelled ? I am out of contract btw.

You give 30 days notice. There is no option to give 34 or 40 days notice for example.
I'd recommend a crossover period of about 3 days in case there is any issue installing sky, or you want to watch recordings, or if upc make a bags of your broadband when you cancel the tv.
Maybe push out the sky install 10 days or so.
If you're on broadband and phone with upc, make sure to call their loyalty team and get a discount on the broadband and phone part of it. If you just cancel the to and do nothing, you're on list price for broadband and phone which can range from €60 to over €100. There's a new 12 month contract if you re-bundle broadband and phone.
