    Hi

i put up a stud wall and one side is plastered and that room is finished.

my problem is now, on the other exposed side, that i need to shave off 10mm off the joists to fit a kitchen in.

what is the quickest way of doing it. it is only a 8x8 foot wall. Could i run a router around it and just avoid nails and stuff?

I'd prob set a circular saw blade down your depth of 10 mm cut a load of notches in the stud wall then just knock out the waste timber with a chisel or there might be enough space between the studs to run a 7" circular saw up and down the studs including the sole plate and header plate all in all a pain in the ar5e job to do
Is there any way the kitchen can be modified to suit

    thanks for the response.

was thinking of that idea too with the saw. the kitchen might have to be modified of altered but there are built in applances which cant be. i will have to wait till i see the kitchen itself. i ordered it from ikea so should be all here soon
