I will hold my hands up and say I was a chronic destroyer of bed sheets and duvets right into my early teens. You could say I blasted them with piss. Drinking before bed was the problem, I used to wake up soaking and think baby wipes were acceptable to clean up rather than a shower. On my laziest mornings I would lie in it , only half conscious of being covered in my own piss. Cue my ma coming up in, smelling it, asking "did you have an accident", my reluctant nod, and being ordered out as she tossed the bed clothes into the wash, wondering when it would stop.

It never happened at friends houses, but I remember one time at a relatives house trying to hide the soiled sheets. Pull ups were a god send.

    Any former bedwetters here?

    Yes.

Oh, as a child? Yeah, I think so.

The odd time. Also do it still as an adult once every 3-4 years.

Totally awkward. One of the first times sleeping with my now wife, we slept in an almost spoon position and when we woke up I had pissed all over her back. But she was totally cool with it and just showered. I was mortified.

Nah, I didn't start until I was well into my 20s.

I just sleep on the toilet.

Can't be too careful these days.

Why didn't you just blame her?

"Sorry Love but I think you pissed the bed, you got it all over me too."

Not me… I did shît myself once on a school trip when I was nine. Then I wore the same jeans to school the next day. The teacher sent me home cause I smelt like day old shît.

Yup, and still do! (the shame), but it's an actual medical problem I've had all my life, doesn't happen so much anymore in my 30s but kinda ****ed up my late teens and 20s. Been to many specialists over it over the years to no avail. Have it under control now but my paranoia over it keeps me from staying over on friends houses even though they are all fully aware about it and don't care.

It's a strange thing to have, lots of people (apparently more so women than men) have it but NO ONE dares talk about it.
