i have an amodo mio maker at home, bit higher end than this model. haven't managed to find any generic pods, don't think they exist, but i much prefer the coffee from it to the nespresso machine we have at work

I have the super boggo version. The steam wand is actually better than one on the bean to cup machine at work. Great coffee, lotta cafes and restaurants falling short of it! We had a nespresso at work, took a bit of work to find a favourite capsule but pretty much all the lavazza ones suit me.

Brown thomas and Harvey Norman stock the pods. Haven't seen any great bargains on them unless you were to order in serious bulk... but if you go through that much coffee you should probably be thinking grinding your own beans or a bean to cup.

The milk frother is excellent and only €39 at the minute on the lavazza site

do that too, have one of these ( http://fellowproducts.com/duo/ ) and a grinder, and a moka pot, and a french press, and a ....

the amodo mio though is handy for a quick coffee in the afternon or straight in off the bike on a cold wet day. and for the wife's latte's and cappuccino's when the mood takes her

haha a good sign that an aficionado like yourself would keep space for one so.

Yeah, good coffee, minimum fuss. Pods suit me, on average I have less than one espresso at home per day.

The italians at work keep the bean to cup stocked with Lavazza espresso beans... I actually prefer the basic rossa! The "standard" modo mio pods are closer to the rossa I think.

You can't actually add the €39.99 one to the cart though.
