Before Christmas, one of the Pro's (who are so generous with their time and helpful advice btw) recommended the Valve I've linked to below to replace the noisy ballcock on my attic Cold Water Storage Tank. Didn't get a chance to order and fit one since that thread but want to get a move on now especially now that I've moved to the attic conversion since then where the noise when the tank is filling is a lot worse than the rest of the house. Its on the other side of a Stud partition wall :D

The 6 year old ballcock is vibrating the mains feed pipe back through most of the house.

Its a 1/2" UK fitting. Does anyone know an Irish supplier of these or do I need to order one online from the UK and if I have to order from the UK, do I also need to order any adapters to fit Irish Qualpex or anything like that.

Chadwicks stock them, but Heatmerchants usually don't. If you are in Dublin try Plumb Merchants on 39 Upr Dominic Street, they have them as well.
You can order on line if you like and no adaptors are required for 1/2". But if its advertised as 15mm you may be better fitting a 1/2" 312 onto it first before connecting the pipe.

Cool. We've a Chadwicks with Plumb centre in Bray. When a Fluidmaster search on the Chadwicks website returned no results I gave up on them. No harm in calling into them though of course. I'll try and pop up to them today so.
