Anyone know if this was operated by Waterford driver/stock of did they position down from Dublin. It was an additional for Rugby to ease pressure on 09.05 service.

Only reason I ask IE have changed how they operate since last August. For example a GAA specials back then one week ran one train Thomastown-Kilkenny, second train Kilkenny-Dublin and the they decided for the next GAA special to run Thomastown-Dublin. That was the week IE left a lot of angry passengers in Waterford who couldn't get any train tickets for a week as services out of Waterford sold out and the service from Thomastown was less than a third sold up to the morning of the service.

So curious to know if it's Dublin based drivers operating now and possible reasons why or does the situation in Waterford at the minute case to much hassle for parking/operating additional services.

Before all specials would begin in Waterford as they have 3 units on Sundays doing nothing.
