Why is the Click and Go forum closed?

Anyone use this company for holidays? Looks like they have some great bargains, and in some nice resorts as well. Are they reputable?

I never heard of them but 2 minutes on their website and I can see none of the signs that would put me off dealing with them. They have a Dublin landline number, a bricks and mortar postal address (they do point out that it's not a retail outlet) and the 'About Us' page has lots of details that would inspire confidence in them.

It was setup in 2010 by Gillian Bowler, they offer flights from Aer Lingus for most resorts I think, not sure if they use Ryanair. They have €1 deposits but like anything if you cancel you will owe the outstanding amount as you have entered in to a contract.

They had a page on this forum (Boards.ie), think its gone since JAN though.

I was wondering do you know why Click and Go forum is closed. Are they still in business?

I'm no moderator but normally these forums pay Boards a few to be here, it's likely the deal just expired.

I'm not a mod either but if you study the forum you'll see that there was four enquiries in November and a grand total of one for the whole month of December. All of the other threads are promotional posts by Alicia from the company itself.

The 'Talk to....' facility is a commercial offering by boards and obviously costs money, you also need to have someone login and check it frequently. Clearly the amount of traffic meant it couldn't be justified. As you're asking a question about a commercial arrangement, it wouldn't surprise me if the official response (if any) is 'no comment'.

Hi there,

From what I know
~ They were listed above as a Sub-forum with a direct link to their 'Talk To' forum; just above Independent & Youth Travel
~ In the 'Talk To' fora they are not (as of right now), not listed as 'Inactive', but that is not to say that they won't be either
~ The last post in the 'Talk To' forum right here was in January 2016
~ They were testing the forum out for a few months to see how it would it go for all involved
~ You would have to contact them directly here to find out if they will return in the interim before Boards.ie HQ and/or ANother on here knows if/when they will return.

That's all that I know as of right now anywhoo,

I used them last year for a holiday to Crete. They seem to package up regular flights, transfers and hotel.
