    So, according to the meeja and vested interests, things are getting boomier again. Ah yes, back to the good old days, frivalous spending, the craic, ah shur we deserve a bit of good fortune. Joking aside, nothing has been done to prevent history repeating itself. Also, and the same old greedygob****es are calling the shots. Its easy enough to get caught up in it all, but are those in power repeating the same mistakes?

    Well there's the mortgage lending restrictions, which ought to prevent history repeating itself exactly. In what sense do you see history repeating itself, except to the extent that historically there have been periods of high economic growth?
