Wife paid our credit card balance due in full as she does every month.  She actioned online payment last Friday 5 Feb during office hours.  The payment due date was Sun 7 Feb.  Discovered late yesterday that payment was only credited to account dated Monday 8 Feb.

Are we now going to be liable to pay interest on this?

    Hi Redderneck

Thanks for getting in touch with us today.

When transferring funds from your Bank of Ireland account into a BOI Credit Card using BOI 365 Online, it takes one working day for payment to reach the Credit Card and cut off times for payments on a working day also apply of 3.30 pm.
As payment was sent last Friday (a banking day) it can take until Monday (the next banking day) to reach the credit card.

If you have missed the due date, interest and fees may apply. The principal credit card holder can log into BOI365 Online and query this further using the 'Online Service Desk', selecting ‘Ask A Question’ from the drop down menu. A colleague with account access can further advise.

We hope you find the information helpful. For any further queries please feel free to get in touch again.

    Many Thanks
    Alison
