Paul O'Connell - Irelands best Captain, EVER. Would you not agree?

    In this professional era Ireland's rugby has been defined by the presence and ability of this man. None other has contributed so much to Ireland's efforts as has Paul O'Connell.
    However, some say his open lay was his weakness. He went to ground too soon.
    Personally I think he is for finest sports person Ireland has produced in the last 15-20 years. He is the embodiment of all that is good about our troubled little country.

    Great player. Great Captain.

    Don't see the need to discuss whether he's a better sportsperson or captain than others on today. Should be all about him.

    Don't really like Ireland being called a 'troubled little country' either but that's likely off topic for the rugby forum.
