Notice inside my February bill about increase in price by €2 and on the bottom of leflet a number to call if you want to leave your contract without penalty.

    Number 1800 303 605

Bargain to me as i have ridiculously bad speed most days and been told il have to pay up remaining months if I want to leave whenever I complain.

Changing to another dsl provider won't fix that

Just switching to Eir from Vodafone. Home phone, broadband, TV and mobile for 25 a month fixed for 1 Yr. Goes up after that but the increase is what I am currently paying anyway. Can't see how Eir can be any worse than Vodafone, they are all the same imo

Not changing to anyone else, just getting rid of broadband all together. My Vodafone 4g on my phone is unreal compared to this and one less bill would be great.

Just switched from Vodafone to Sky for Telephone, Unlimited Broadband, includes free calls to Irish landlines, as well as UK landlines, US landline and mobile and a few other countries for €42.5/month for the first 12 months and on a 12 moth contact. Goes up after 12 months, but I'll probably switch then. The one thing I don't like is I had a small problem and I had to call Sky and the only phone number they had was a pay number and they charge you per minute as you are on hold. How can a Phone company charge you for a phone call, when it was their fault ?! To me, that's low, so at the end of the 12 months I will be switching! I never had Sky before and heard a lot of bad things, maybe I should have listened. Charging for you to call them about their mistakes is just plain wrong, especially when it's a phone company. Just wrong!

I think you have a 14 day cooling off period in which you can cancel?

If your landline is with sky then you are not charged for calls to sky customer support.

Here's a sky landline number to call in the future 01 248 3015. No more expensive numbers ;)

I rang eir, removed from my contract and moved to sky. Works out cheaper for us and getting away from their awful tv service which had to be reset almost daily.

I don't think that's true, as I asked them when they answered and they said there was a charge and it's something like 5 cent per minute and I was on-hold for a long time, I'll see when I get my bill. The switch-over took so long and the start date wasn't clear, I'm not sure if my cooling off period is over yet. I certainly hope they don't charge landline customers for calling them, but if they do it's criminal.
