Maternity Benefit MB10 form

My partner will be going on maternity leave soon.

When she was filling out the form she selected No at the part "Do you wish to claim an increase for them?" As I was getting JB then.

Her company is paying her for her maternity leave, Or topping up.

Turns out I am not entitled to JA. I am getting no payment at the moment.

I am wondering Is there any point in her going back to the social welfare and "claiming an increase for me"?

Would she get extra, on top of her company topping it up?

    Thanks

If you are unemployed and do not qualify for a sw payment then yes she should contact Mat Ben section to get you added to her claim.
