Just wondering if anyone can clarify something for me. I am in a course with approximately 300 people. I understand la na gradham was a few days ago. The rules to be granted the award is that in the previous academic year a student must have had a 1.1 and be in the top 7% of the year (this would mean aporox 21 people would get it in my year). However only 8 people got it-I didn't get the award but I got a 1.1. All the other years in my course got approximately the correct amount of recipients so is there some other factor which is taken into account? Why would my year have so few recipients even tho there were other students who did meet the requirements?
