Audi A4 cruise control upgrade

    Have a 02 Audi A4 without cruise control. I want to upgrade to cruise control and need to upgrade the control module also.

    Found a complete unit with the stalk and upgrade module included. P/N 8E0953549Q.

    The unit is off a 2006 A4 B7. Does anyone know if the B7 stalk column will fit the B6.

    Ok,

    Installed cruise control on my A4 B6 today, Mainly because I keep drifting over the speed limit on straight roads and don't want points on my licence.:)

    Anyway, not the most straight forward thing I have done regarding coding ect, but it's up and running.

    Question: when I activate cruise control I get a green light in the centre of the dash showing my cruise is on. Should I see something else on the DIS?

    I have a brake pad wear symbol on the DIS as they need changing and am wondering is this preventing cruise info from showing on the DIS?

    I had a B6 A4 with basic red/black DIS and nothing came up on the DIS when cruise was on. The only indicator was the green one in the dial.
