Cancelled flights still no refund

I cancelled flights to Australia 3 months ago, the agency I went through etravel said up to 8-10 weeks for a refund. Firstly to have to wait this long is ridiculous but its now been 3 months and I still haven't received the refund. What course of action should I take? Is it more likely the airline or the agency holding up the refund?

What terms and conditions was there for cancellations? Do you have travel insurance you could use?

Have you contacted etravel, to see what they have to say about the delay?

I was told before I cancelled I would get a full refund minus a small fee but it would take 8-10 weeks, I emailed etravel a few days ago . They are not responding

Are you from Dublin if so call to their office, I've had dealings with them and they might be the cheapest for flights but if anything goes wrong their rubbish to help you. 8 weeks sounds very long to wait for a refund.

Call them, and absolutely eat them, demand that you get a full refund, without minusing the small fee due to the unacceptable wait.

You'd be surprised at the results, although don't get abusive either.

They eventually replied after I sent them a bollocking email, I threatend to mention there unprofessionalism on facebook and boards.ie :) and also threatend legal action. They replied promptly stating they simply haven't received the refund yet and would contact me when they had done. I replied back saying that the 8-10 week was already a disgrace in the first place and now that the maximum wait time of 10 weeks had elapsed what their plan was to intervene on behalf of their customer. I added surely the plan isn't just to keep waiting, as of yet they haven't replied to that one

I have also logged a case with British Airways regarding the matter to see if they have indeed refunded the money to them
