    Hey guys.

My internet cut for about 10 seconds and now google is redirecting to .be (title is a mistake) on all of my devices in my house.

I'm on a bridged connection and I checked both my Asus router and my UPC one and none of them seem to be compromised.

    Any ideas?

    It's directing me to 3800 Sint-Truiden, Beligum.

Your wan has probably picked up an ip for Belgium. Google "what's my ip location" and check the geo location of the ip address.

LG shift blocks around on demand, the third party geo services update within 1-2 weeks. We were Amsterdam for a while last year.

These are the results from that.

    Results 1.
    Results 2.

Most of them saying Belgium but some saying Ireland.

Hmmm so, it shouldn't really be anything to worry about should it?

Nah its just a pain to open up maps and not be centered roughly on target or have Facebook list you as in somwhere you arent in posts. Minor annoyance. The whole system is just best guesses in any case.

Ok fair enough, thanks for the info mate. I was worried I was compromised on my router or something considering that it happened on all devices :/

So I should just wait it out and expect it to revert back on its own? The last thing I want to do is ring Virgin and have them mess up my bridged connection.

You can just leave it, it has zero effect on performance or routing.

If your router supports MAC spoofing you could actually pull yourself new addresses until you get one thats got up to date geo records but its not worth your time IMO.

Cool, I'll just wait it out until it goes back. Cheers mate!
