Would any dealer go for it.

F.e. I would like to trade in a car worth about €8k as a trade in.
Pay €2k extra, and take two vehicles advertised for €5k each.

Obviously amounts are only for ilustrative reasons to show the idea.

Would any dealer possibly be interested in something like that or most likely not?

Do you think the dealer would retail your 8k one? For how much?

It's probably only going to work if you sell your own privately as if your thinking 8k he's thinking 5k

Agree with the above. If you are thinking the car is worth €8k retail, the dealer will be offering a couple of grand less for it. Private sale would put you in a much better position to buy the teo €5k cars and get a good deal.

Dealers will surely be interested, but at your cost.

I can't see why not, they shift two cars and only stuck with one trade in. Price would need to be right though.

As long as they like the car trading and they are making money on deal . If the two cars they have will sell easily they might just rather wait till another buyer for either car comes along
