Had Patella Tendonitis for 7 months.

    Have had:
    1. Physio
    2. MRI
    3. More physio
    4. Shockwave therapy (yes this is sore)
    5. More physio

Keep thinking I've beaten it and then it comes back.

    Thinking of acupuncture.

Anyone tried this and how did it go?

Note: Physio is mainly squats, and any exercise to strengthen gluts etc.

Yes, I had it and found it great. Like you, I had physio, massage, etc etc, all without long-term effect. I then found a brilliant acupuncturist and I have to say that I felt fantastic - instant relief after one session, pain came back after a couple of days, but after about 8 sessions it was pretty much gone. It seems to have a cumulative benefit, and after each session, I felt a little bit stronger each time.
I have a maintenance session about every 6-8 weeks, otherwise the pain starts to creep back, but overall, I'd say acupuncture has had the most long-lasting impact of anything I've tried yet!

Can you provide any contact details for the acupuncture?
    Thanks

Have suffered for 2 years will this. Tried everything. It's not too bad at the moment. No pain when I run just a bit sore afterwards. Could you still train when getting treatment done?

I've had combined physio and acupuncture treatments here with good results:

Most recently over the last few weeks- fingers crossed!

Mark is pretty aware of an athlete's need to race and will get you on a plan that will hopefully get you back running.
