Are there any near the Cork end of the m8 where you can get decent coffee but just off the motorway and not off in a town.?

Sign posting of services is Shiite on the motor ways

I use the one on the Dublin side of fermoy. As you approach southbound, take the first exit for fermoy. You have to drive towards fermoy but only to the edge and there is a good garage with a mini supermarket attached with very good food and good coffee. It is on the left hand side as you drive down and always busy.

To answer your question, there are no services that I can find that are not in towns. The last one seems to be cashel at about the midway point.

Fermoy is the best one at the Cork end. Mid-way, you can stop at J8 Cashel, and finally at J14 on the M7 closer to Dublin.

Yes, junction 14 on the M8 (not to be confused with junction 14 on the M7 which also has a service area)

This one on the M8 is also 24 hour

Cheers all, ended up stopping at the one near Cashel with the drive thru Mackers, after first taking the wrong exit half a mile earlier which directs you to Mother Hubbards.....shivers.

Also stopped at a new one on the Dublin side of Port Laoise for emergency child toilet stop.

    Both really busy.

The signposting is outrageous. Clearly trying to appease local interests.
