I'm open to correction here, but isn't the main purpose of Bluetooth on the Edge 25 (or indeed most of the bluetooth-enabled Garmins) for pairing with a phone and uploading from there? Main protocol for syncing sensors (e.g. HRM, power meters, speed/cadence) is usually ANT+, so probably better to look at HRMs supporting that? Most bluetooth ones that I have come across are for use with smartphone fitness tracker apps.

I brought Tacx T1994 last month, its ANT+ and bluetooth compatible. Sync's fine with my garmin 500 and also my smartphone. The price was €51 including delivery from bike24.
With the new virtual turbo trainers, like the Tacx T2400 Satori having bluetooth links to smartphones giving you virtual power and heartrate for under €200 I think its worth buying a heart rate monitor that is both ANT+ and bluetooth compatible.
