Help regarding a dented boot

Missus introduced the boot of her 07 fiesta with a bollard. Is it hard to find a boot lid with the same colour? Also, how would the electronics work for the boot opening?

If there's no solution no worries, I'm getting plenty of mileage out of winding her up about it anyway

Have a look in the damaged cars on Donedeal, also check scrapyards.

Cheers for that! Would it be expensive getting it sprayed the same colour as the car? And reworking the electronics?

Unlike say a quarter panel or a door there isn't a whole lot of metal on the boot of a 07 Fiesta, but it will still need to be prepared and sprayed and from experience I can tell you if you cheap out from the beginning you'll most likely be paying to have it done again, either because the paint will bubble and lift from a poor job or the colour will be off and you'll always see it.

    What colour is the car?

    Its a silver/metallic colour

So far cant find any matching boots, ill keep looking!

So, if I find a replacement boot that matches colour; how hard is the boot to replace?

What im worried about the most is the electronics, as the key remote has a button to open the boot - would that be affected?

If you get boot lid changed then usually the lock and its harness should be swapped over.

Perfect, will this affect the electronics at all?

It shouldn't if you're careful :) You should disconnect battery while fiddling with electronics.
