Anyone done this before? Wouldn't mind doing it but I've only got Mtb or hybrid? Would hybrid be suitable?

Check with organisers if they have others on hybrids, some group cycles dont want hybrids mixed with drop bar bikes. They can get "hooked" on each other and cause issues

Good point il send an email! Cheers

Done it in 2012 on a hybrid it was heavy and awful but it was acceptable.

Hybrid will be fine, others will be on them too, plus the pace is very steady and easy.

I'm fairly fit just didn't want to be the only one on a hybrid, can't justify buying a road bike just yet mountain biking is my first choice but this looks like it could be a bit of crack, and it's for charity!
