Hi all, l im currently on my 5th lesson and i am not insured on another car so im just driving during lessons without any practice. My instructor says i should be practising a bit more but tbh i cant really afford it.
So basically has anybody else just done the lessons wothout any other driving practice and if so how did ye get on?

Loads of people pass without practice between lessons. It is absolutely possible. It might mean you need to take additional lessons after/during your 12 but this can still be considerably cheaper than insurance.
Your instructor is giving you good advice regarding practice but if insurance isn't practical using your ADI as a sponsor or continuing with lessons after EDT are both good options
