Wireless router antenna question

    Hi
I am looking for a wireless adsl router that will work with eir/vodafone.

I think I know the one I want: TP-LINK Archer D2 AC750, or something similar (can't post links yet sorry!)

For a router that has antennas like this, can you remove one and attach an external antenna?

I want to put the router in a closet, but put an antenna box on the wall outside the closet using an extension antenna cable (I will have plug socket inside the closet so everything else will be hidden).

    Thanks!

is able to boost Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home. Advanced Beamforming technology

If you move one you must move all three, and position them in a similar fashion.
