Muffin mix - can i use it to make cake

Hi, We bought some muffin mix but would prefer to make it into a cake that we can cut up into small slices similar to a brownie. Do I need to adjust cooking times or recipe in anyway or will it work fine? thanks frAg

It'll likely need a longer cooking time as it's much bigger and will take longer to cook through. Maybe drop the cooking temperature by 20 degrees too to stop it over baking on the top and edges.
