    only one i've read is

    The Buried Giant, Kazuo Ishiguro (Knopf)

    Goes at an incredibly gentle pace, and dialogue is absolutely charming and polite (can't think of a better word). Really enjoyed it, but definitely not your run of the mill fantasy book.
