ewe lamb management

    First year at ewe lambs so bit unsure how to work them

    What do ye feed meal wise compared to a mature ewe...singles and twins


    And also i dose my ewes for fluke every 6 weeks ahould i be doing the ewe lambs for worms as well as fluke

    Ewe lambs are as prone to worms as any lambs and it's also recommended to dose them when you're dosing their lambs in the spring as well, so if they haven;t been dosed for the last few mths, they should be dosed now, dont know anything about fluke TG.
    On feeding, it's very easy overfeed ewe lambs with singles and end up with big lambs/hard lambings.....just give them enough that they're not getting thin.
    If the doubles are in lamb to an easy lambing breed, they should be fed well.
