Where would I get one of these, or can I use ordinary fireboard, or is it necessary?
    Btw 26kw castiron boiler.

    Thanks Jim
I was afraid to use the board that I have because it is so light. I was afraid it would float around the chamber. The original board in them is surprisingly heavy.

Got word back from above. They are no longer available. There is some larger one that can be cut, but works out expensive.

I am going to have a look around some hardware shops, to see if there is a suitable "fire brick" from a cooker or stove that would do the job. I often fell over them in such places when not looking for them.
I am not overly worried either way. As has been mentioned, they seem to chug along happily without them. I would just avoid a 60° nozzle on a 3 section one in its absence.

Just as well Scudo isn't here. He would be on to you for copyright infringement. Have to say it's an idea I hadn't thought ofðŸ‘. Will go the firebrick route though.
