Humax Factory Reset and recordings...?

My Humax HDRs-1000 is no longer recognizing my second cable. Latest software installed so that's not the issue. I'm going to try a factory reset to see if it will recognize the second cable. However, can anyone who has done a reset tell me whether this will delete my recordings?

It will not delete the recordings but it will delete your reservations.
