Got tarmac resurfaced : Does this look normal???

Got our drive resurfaced over old tarmac today. Seemed a reputable business who did it but afterwards when I checked it, there were obvious spills of the sealer all over the place. I didn't realise at the time because there was lots of water as well. Rang them to query it, and was told that "it's only noticeable because its fresh, you won't notice it after a while" and "the stuff is hard to control. Looks to me like whatever vessel they were using for the sealer was leaking and they didnt notice.

Have I cause to worry or is this normal? Will it fade over time?

The streaky bituminous sealant shouldn't be a problem, aside from an aesthetic one. There is a lot of sand over the edge joints. I haven't see that much used before.

The surface texture looks rough in the last pic, near the house at the concrete footpath.

Second that, I'd be more concerned about the very rough finish all around than the sealant. Looks like the tarmacadam was too cold when put down. Might not be a huge issue on a domestic drive way other than apearance however I'd be worried about the rougher areas breaking down over time.
