Mantilla Veil - Does lace have to match?

I have my heart set on a chapel length mantilla veil (lace edging). One tailor made to match the lace on my wedding dress is working out quite expensive. I love it so much though that I am willing to buy it if needs be. If I saw another, cheaper, mantilla veil that doesnt necessarily have the same style lace would it look odd?

Hard to say without seeing it altogether but not necessarily. Sometimes its better for things to "go" rather than "match"

Matching might be too matchy matchy.
But it is important to get the non matching just right i.e. not standing out because it's so different.

I dont think they need to match but as long as they blend in together nicely, It will look lovely.
