RO water for brewing?

Myself and Mrs Sleepy are in the process of looking to buy our first house and one of my criteria has been that we get somewhere with a utility room / garage or proper block built shed that I can use as a brewing room to get into brewing beer.

Having only done cider before, I've never had to worry about the water being used for the brew and, as someone who was already toying with the idea of an RO filtration system for my fishkeeping, would RO water be beneficial to brewing too?

It can be a great base as long as you know what your doing, that is adding back the required salts.
