Humax Freesat Box and Internet

    So connected my box to the internet this morning, and not letting me view BBC, C4/4OD or 5. Getting error messeges or not available for all.

    Now am aware BBC is geo blocked, and possibly 5, but thought C4 and 4OD were available. Youtube working, and yet to try Netflix.

    Please note, not looking for work arounds, just to know if I am doing something wrong.

    You are doing nothing wrong. Online content from Channel 4 is blocked in Ireland on the Freesat boxes.

    So none of the catchup/on demand TV works on none UK IPs through freesat then? Am assuming netflix/curzon will work normally from the on demand menu, like youtube does?

    Moving away from the freesat box, would a cromecast or similar device display C4/4OD on TV if opening them on my laptop or tablet?

    It can easy be made to but discussion isn't allowed on boards so much, even if it is legal.

    ITV not showing on the 'on demand' menu though. Everything else mentioned on this thread is though. NI postcode used on setup if makes any difference.

    Itv player works on the humax hdr with either England or Wales postcode
