P21 - How long for money to come into my account?

    Hi,

    I used the PAYE online system and clicked into my P21 and opened it.

    It was dated 03/02/2016, and it says a sum of money will be paid to my bank account.

    I checked my account and there is no payment.

    How long does it take to go in?

    Do I have to do anymore? i.e. is just opening the P21 and seeing that they will pay it to my account be enough?

    It should be in your bank in 2/3 days. Its automatically done when the P21 is issued could be there today or tomorrow, if not then Monday i'd say

    if revenue has your bank details then yes 2-3 days, if you didnt give them your bank details then they will send you a cheque instead,

    Hope the OP doesnt mind but rather than create a new thread a quick piggy back on this.

    Got a P21 balancing statement off paye anytime dated the 24th Feb saying a cheque will be issued to me. its now the 4th march and no sign of the postie with the good news envelope.

    How long do the cheques normally take? Would have done the bank details but the online service would not accept my iban

    It might have been stopped for verification. A few randomly are. Or the cheque might have been sent out and was lost or returned to them for whatever reason. You can call them and ask them to check what the delay is.
