Hi, I'm hoping to take the theory test for a learners permit, the only issue I have at the moment is that I only have the official RSA dtt CD, im using that to learn for now, everything good. but.. its ''6th edition, october 2013'' and my question is as follows: Have the theory tests changed a lot in the past three years? i dont want to walk into an exam and find a set of new questions i haven't seen before because i was learning out of date material. And i also dont want to buy the latest CD if its not necessary.. What do ye say ?

Your query would be better off in the Learning to Drive forum. Moved from Motors.

The October 2013 edition is the latest edition. If you buy a new CD it will be exactly the same.

I found this free online quiz to be very helpful:

    http://quizglobal.com/playquiz/Irish%20Driver%20Theory%20Test

It's not official, of course, but I went through all of the questions manually before my test, and all 40 test questions had been on the quiz word-for-word, so it seems to be fairly accurate. It explains the answers to each question as well. Probably the same content as your CD, but it seems like it's a good resource for those who don't want to spend extra money on a study guide.
