Hi,my niece had a learner permit that expired in October, she was sent a renewal form in October from the NDLS as she had already attended the office, but she didn't renew it then because she was away working. She wants to renew when she gets back but she was wondering will her new licence be valid from the expiry of the old or when she newly applys?? Thks in advance for any help

Her new license will be valid from the day that she makes the application in the NDLS center. She has 5 years from the expiry date of her licence to renew, otherwise she will need to sit the theory test again.
