    Hi folks,

swapped out the battery last week in the A6. All good. Reset the 1-click open/close on all windows without issue. Just a niggle though: Comfort closure on the keyfob no longer opens the front windows; it'll close them but not open them. Rears are fine. Any ideas ?

Not overly familiar with the A6 but some cars have a function where you can lock the electric windows from a switch on the driver controls, any chance that has been done?

All windows function fine on internal controls. Issue is only related to front window opening on fob. Nothing to do with internal disable switch.

Perhaps the soft coding of the ccm changed when the battery was disconnected. If you have access to vcds you could try resetting it to the parameters you had before by accessing the door control or comfort control modules.

I was thinking this too as it's just too coincidental with the battery change. As an update, I just checked this morning and the CC works on all 4 windows (open/close) with the key in the door lock of the car. Anyone with a VCDS in the Dublin area ? I'll gladly pay for your time :)
