GAA Players & Appearance & Interview fees. What do they charge?

    Anyone have an idea how much GAA players get paid for turning up at Marketing campaigns?

    The start of the Allianz leagues, county and club provioncial championships have photo shoots and some press interviews.

    When players are interviewed for RTE or Newstalk or print media, I presume the players are being paid.

    (And good luck to them too by the way. Whatever they get, they deserve it !)

    Anyone know is there a going rate?

    Just wondering do players negotiate themselves or is the GPA involved with standard rates ?

    I did hear the Dublin players have a central fund

    I think most teams have a central fund.

    Any I've heard of involve central funds too.
