How to check property ownership

Last year I purchased a property and the solicitor registered it to the land registry for me. However, I didn't get any paper from him or the land registry to show I am the owner of the house now.

I know I can ask the solicitor, but I am wondering if there is an independent way to check this.

    Thanks!

Assuming you have a mortgage on the property, don't the deeds get sent to your mortgage provider as collatoral? When the debt is repaid in full, they'll send you the deeds.

Hi you can check the land registry yourself . It cost 5 euro and you can see if the land is in your name
