Hi looking to buy a good watch for my mums 60th in few weeks budget would be around 350/450 she likes gold or that colour can anyone help pls?

If you have a fields jewellers near you they stock a great selection of watchs, michael kors are a good brand and they are on sale at the moment.

from experience, I know when you are 60, the last thing you want is a small watch with a dial and hands that blend into eachother as the near sight is not as good. Would look for something with contracting dials to hands, ie white dial with black hands etc

My grandmother's requirements for a watch are very specific.

-It has to be big.
-It has to have a plain white face with large numbers.
-It has to have very visible hands.

It basically has to be a small wall clock on her wrist, she doesnt care about price, movement, where it was bought etc. Just that she can read it quickly and easily.

She has 2 (relatively) expensive tiny little womens watches that have never been worn. Currently she wears a large analog mans watch that cost her a tenner.

I suggest you find out either by asking or covertly if she has any specific requirments like that.
