    hi guys
anyone have any recommendations on where me and the wife could go for a weekend and actually catch a few fish
were based in dublin and have had little luck on the east coast off the beach
we both had a good few pike mainly around mullingar
so my question is anyone any ideas where to go for a weekend with a bit of crack and fish
    thanks :)

    Dingle.

    That is all.

The West coast is really where you need to go, from West Cork to Donegal. With this windy weather we've been having recently, be careful on rocks, although I find they're usually the best locations.

Wait a couple of months for the weather to get better. Book into parknasilla hotel in Kerry for a weekend. Do a bit of fishing off the islands there on the hotel grounds. You will be in the good books for a long time after ;)

I would agree on Dingle. Huge choice of fishing spots and decent accommodation options in the two. I would leave it until june or July and then you should have a choice of species
