Approaching Women In The Street

Do you do it? Any success or failure stories when you have done it in the past?

I was walking home from town earlier today and saw a women walking towards me, exactly my type, and what I go for looks wise in woman. Had about a minute to go over the options in my head but in the end we just walked past each other, smiled as we passed and that was the end of that. Have been regretting not introducing myself to her since I got home, but I guess the idea of coming off a bit strange and inconveniencing her put me off saying anything. Oh well :(

Someone stops me in the street looking to be my friend or to hook up? Wierdo or hooker!

I've done it, I've also been a fúcker for getting peoples numbers on the night link after drunken shìte talk.

Got a couple of dates out of it but I don't do it anymore from pure shame. Its like being one of those salesman in a shopping centre, but you're flogging your erect penis instead of Sky TV.

I'd never approach women on the street. I jump in the hedge if I spy one walking towards to me.

Working on a building site years ago and we were all admiring a young lady at a bus stop across the road, one of the chippies near us took one look at her and went straight over to get her number,(it turned out she had a boyfriend),you could tell she was flattered to be approached and we could see the other people at the stop eavesdropping,But he was from New Zealand and could not understand the Irish way of admiring but not approaching someone you fancy.

Ya might get away with it in Dublin. In the rest of the country the other person would think your some creep.

If you see her again, poke her, apparently it's all the rage on bookface.

On a side note, I must compliment your powerful eyesight, you say you had about a minute to react once you'd spotted her which mean both of you walked for one minute before meeting. Taking that on average a reasonable walking pace for an adult is 5 to 6km/h, that means both of you were about 200m apart when you spotted her (obviously on a deserted street with no one to obscure your view of the said girl) and were able to distinguish her good looks as 'your type'

Irish people can only be approached for romantic endeavors at 2.31 am and only after copious amounts of alcohol consumption. Before that time it's against Irish law. (sadly).

Well when you put it like that it may have been 30 seconds :pac: But she did have bright pink hair so it was hard to miss her!

I suspect the definition of "his type" is "has a pulse"

Would that not be sexual assault?

Do not do it unless David Attenborough can narrate the whole thing.

Get onto vistaprint to print up some cards with your name, phone number, social media profile details and non cheesy photo of yourself ready to hand out to people you've fallen in love with during that 10 seconds they walked in front of you in the street. If it's a hard sell say it comes with a free pen.

That's a bit continental. The bit of irish charm is what he wants. Ye take a big handful of arse and give it a good squeeze. They love that, so they do.

Clobber her with your club and drag her by the hair to your man cave. Don't drag her by the ankle, she'll only fill up with sand :):)
