Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The European Commission gave some reasoning and timescale for the harmonisation of the 700Mhz band for mobile use across europe by 30th June 2020.

The Commission claims that..

"inhabitants of rural areas will benefit from a wider broadband coverage, both at home and on the move."

..however it's not stated whether or how wider coverage will be mandated either by the EC or member States.

Previously Commissioner Oettinger suggested that finance ministers compromised proper allocation of spectrum in the mobile bands so as to maximise revenue.

"spectrum policy currently lies in the hands of 28 finance ministers that “have just a dollar sign in their eyes,” as he put it, and that has to change."

So let's hope the the coverage obligations are set by Europe this time.
