2 back shocks for '00 corolla

    just wondering, would anybody have an idea as to how much two 2nd hand back shocks for a 2000 corolla vvti would be?
    rang a scrapyard but they've yet to get back to me

    Probably half the price of new shocks and they mightn't last pissing time.

    It's an absolute waste of time fitting second hand ones though. The shocks give trouble in those cars when they get older so no real point spending hours fitting what could potentially be bad shocks.

    It makes sense not only from an economy point of view but from a safety point of view as well to fit new shocks.

    You can buy shocks for €65 each off the internet if you know someone that could fit them at a reasonable cost it wouldn't break the bank. Is it a retest? If not put it through the test as is to see if it will pass.

    I just put it through..i could hear rattling in the back during the week, had a feeling shocks might be gone/going, but thought, f*ck it, i'll put it through and see what happens. luckily it passed! :)

    Oh. Just so you know, they only check for imbalances in the shocks, so if both are equally ****ed, it'll pass, doesn't mean the shocks aren't gone
