MyRyanair travel account

    Is the my ryanair travel account mandatory?

    It asks for payment details and travel document details. Can you not just provide these upon online check in?

    Why would they ask for payment details a second time after I've paid for the flight?

    It's just for convenience, have an account set up and you can book and confirm a flight quicker and easier as they have your payment and passport details. It's very handy.

    Nothing sinister in it at all.
