Does anyone know of any prosthodontist that does a free consultation in Dublin. Some of my teeth are shorter than others, the laterals look like baby teeth so I'm wondering if veeners would work or maybe they could be built up with composite? There's s small gap on one side so I'm not if that rules out the idea of using composit. I'm also a terrible grinder so maybe veneers won't work? And to make things worse, I've got a good bit of fluorosis so the bleeching might not work. In general my teeth are in really good condition. I'm getting married in 5 months .. I hate smiling! Need to act fast

go to your regular dentist first and you'll get a better idea of what needs to be done, and if a prosthodontic referral is necessary.

I doubt many offer their services for "free", cosmetic consultations can be long and detailed including X-rays, discussion about shape changes, shade, materials, protection after treatment, drawbacks etc

If you find one, let us know!
A consultation with a prosthodontist can take an hour or more. Photos, impressions, xrays, a clinical examination, nurse& receptionist wages, building overheads(rates, electricity, ect), discussion of possible treatment options/timings/costs with someone with 10+ years of training/studying behind them, followed up by the time to formulate a written treatment plan (often 2-3 A4 pages in length) estimate that will be emailed/posted to you, follow-up to answer any further questions, then after all this you may opt not even to proceed with any treatment with them at all (for financial/personal/other reasons).....I can't see how it'd work as a business model.
In saying that, some practitioners will retrospectively offset the consultation fee against the overall treatment cost, but that's *if* you proceed with treatment.

Op....I am a prosthodontist and I do not offer free consults. The consult is the cheapest thing I do, and it actually is a loss leader for me, the amount of time it takes, the staff, and the oppertunity cost. This sort of high end work has necessary expense, the consult is the least of it.

I personally use the consult fee to gague a persons interest. If they are unwilling to pay for my time, I am unlikely to invest my time in them. I offered free consults for a short period in my carrier and was inundated with tyre kickers. I know of no restorative specialist that offers free consults.

5 months is not a long time, a diagnostic work up could take 6 week alone. Bite the bullet and get the teeth done.
