    Hi there,

Just looking for some advice as to why the heating may not be working. Very clueless on the matter. The trip switch blew the other day but has been reset, would this have any affect? Also the caseing of the zoned heating thermostat was knocked off accidentally? And the LED on it is not working on it anymore? Would this affect the heating not coming on for the whole house? Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated - it's freezing!

    Thanks.

Sorry, an old extension lead caused the tripswitch to go, but we reset that. And on a different occasion the caseing was knocked off the room thermostat. But we don't know which one (if either) has stopped the heating from working?

the minivalve (possibly in hotpress) may have a manual over ride lever on the side which can be left open

I havn't heard it make any noise anyway? Do you think its anything to do with what I mentioned or could it be something different entirely?

    Possible reason.

If the timeclock for the system is an electronic clock, rather than a mechanical clock, and the backup battery in the unit is no longer holding a charge, the power failure may mean that the settings of the times it comes on and goes off again have been reset to the default times, which could be very different to what you are expecting.

If it is electronic timer, one way to check it out will be to put the setting to Always on, and see if the zones then work.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
