Best of luck with the log McRhino. Any running background to give us? Any goals for the year? Have you raced much?

Many thanks Mr bulmer.Have done a few 5k,10k,21k,42km races, but never did great.I did Dcm in under sub 4 .Coach has me doing hr stuff, but have to wait till a few weeks so he can read the data and plan a few races for me.Will probably aim for the big half's like clontarf or wicklow that do great medals and then do dublin.

Ah you've done Longford (nearly) half & Waterford (almost) full so ;)

Under sub 4 - not too shabby:)

Don't understand too much about all that HR stuff but sounds like your coach knows his stuff!

Do not really know too much about it,other than to do what im told and forget every thing i thought i knew about jog training.A bit of blind obedience never killed any one.

blind obedience? sounds great, I do a bit of HR training myself but I tend to ask a question or two, perhaps that's a mistake though. good luck with the jog training, look forward to reading more about your HR data in due course when your coach has a chance to analyze everything.

Did 2hrs of crossfit as not bulky enough as i want to do some MMA and get into close quarter protection.Actually am quite an Angry runner who enjoys the silence of running
Today did 14.2 km at 136 bpm which i think is approxamitly 76% of max.Legs were quite dead from yesterdays squats etc..so wussed out of kast .8km

The old Kravmaga is great for the close quarter protection stuff.
