Hi all! We are heading to Norcenni Girasole in Tuscany for twelve days this summer. Has anybody any advice about what to see or do in the area and about the campsite itself? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We stayed here about 4 years ago, campsite is great, plenty of pools in to camp site and bottom camp site.

Local village figline valdarno, is 10 minute drive down hill, there is a very large supermarket that we bought supplies in, this supermarket was bigger then most Tesco's that I've been to.

The village itself is a typical Italian village built around a large square. There was a large market selling textiles and fruit and veg. Great experience to go down. Night time was quite enough, nice bars and restaurants.

Renting a car is a must. We traveled to Sienna and San Gimignano I would highly recommend these.

We also spent the day in Florence, however we took the train from Figline which took 30 minutes and was very cheap to do.

The campsite is split in two. Main site is the lower and then they have the upper site.

You will be provided with a card that you top up and use to spend on site.

There are bars, restaurants, gelateriea, off licence and even a nightclub on site.

    Prices are reasonable.

There is so much to do around the area, on site there is a tourist office so make sure the utilise there expertise.

    Enjoy yourself.
